Dr. Prakash Shahapurkar Traveling Fellowship

Guidelines for Dr. Prakash Shahapurkar Travelling Fellowship:

1.      The Fellowship is meant to be utilised only within our country.

2.      The Fellowship will be awarded to the life member of ASI.

3.      Age limit 45 yrs.

4.      Fellowship will have to be availed in the same year, will not be carried forward to subsequent year.

5.      Travel, Food and Accommodation to be taken care of by the candidate 

6.      Document to be sent to KSS office.

a.      Duly filled application form for the fellowship in enclosed format.

b.      The application stating the benefits the applicant expects from the fellowship.

c.       Short C.V. of the applicant.

d.      Recommendations from Two senior surgeons from his home town and who are also ASI members.

e.      Acceptance letter from the centre for approving the fellowship.

f.        The application should be sent to Secretary KSS on or before 30^th April every year which will be scrutinized by EC committee of KSS and decision of the committee will be final.

g.      On completion of the fellowship the candidate must send a detail report to KSS office.

h.      Certificate of the fellowship and cheque of Rs. 25,000/- will be handed over to the candidate during Dr. Prakash Shahapurkar Oration or MASICON.
