To form Kolhapur Surgical Society was long time dream of Surgeons of Kolhapur. At Amravati MASICON-2005 Dr. Gopinath, President of ASI allotted me the task of forming registered Surgical Society of Kolhapur Surgeons as I was Executive Council member of Maharashtra Chapter, Deccan Area.
After coming form Amravati myself and my like minded friends came together and formed constitution and registered K.S.S. at Charity Commissioner’s office.
Dr. B. T. Jamdade, President of Maharashtra Chapter inaugurated K.S.S. on 25th June 2006. Dr. Manikrao Salunkhe, Vice Chancellor Ch. Shivaji University was guest of honour of the opening Ceremony. K.S.S. is the best city chapter in Maharashtra and will soon become best city chapter in India.
